Hart County Social Club Does the Big Lebowski

“The Hart County Social Club does the Big Lebowski” by award winning American artist, Arlene Wright-Correll. Arlene says, “On 3/1/09 16 or so people, who had not bowled in 30 to 40 years, went bowling. Carl and I, at the age of 74 & 75, did not bowl as did 2 others. However, the rest managed to get more gutter bowls than we had ever seen in our lives and whenever one got a strike we never saw a 60+ year old jump so high. We also never saw so many people having so much fun!” This is a gouache watercolor with pen and ink illustration of the evening on handmade 100% acid free cotton rag paper with deckled edges. The size is 10.5″ x 15″. It is professionall float matted and is ready for your frame.

"Building Dr. Middleton's Wall"

“Building Dr. Middleton’s Wall” is a 12 x 16″ gouache water color on Fredrix’s Canvas by Arlene Wright-Correll.
This painting reflects what goes on in the area where I live which is Munfordville, KY. For almost a year rocks started to appear and accumlate in the field next to Dr. Middleton’s house and it was a great source of curiosity and amusing surmises. Then in the late fall of 2005 the workers arrived to start building a wall and the mystery was solved. This spring of 2006, the wall was completed. Here it is almost finished. It is double matted and in a 14″ x 18″ gold colored wood frame.

All my personal royalties from the sale of these paintings, Giclee Prints, note cards, postcards or clown collectibles goes to The Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital for reseach for Childrens cancer.
