Friends by Leonie Edge
Friends
I remembered you today
and all the things you've done for me
I remembered your shoulder
where I cried so miserably
I remembered your smile
as you thought of a joke
I remembered your laughter
each bump in the Moke
I remembered your tears
as we said good-bye
I remembered your hugs
"Sorry, gotta fly!"
I know that I
will never see you again
except in my memory
you're there, dear friend.
