Memories Shared by Judilynn

I'm taking a moment out of my busy schedule to write about one of my first memories.
The first one I can remember is living in a trailer in south Carolina, I still can remember the lay out of the place, I was probably only 2-3 years old. When you walked in the front door, on the right was the living room, to the immediate left was the dining room table and the kitchen was across from that. If you turned left down the hall way, on the right was a bedroom, can't remember if it was mine or Lori's, but probably both of ours. Then came the bathroom and my parents room was all the way at the end of the hall.
Then another time after that when my dad was in the Navy and my mother and I went to go live with him when he was stationed in North Carolina. We were staying in these little cabins, I guess they were like a complex of rental cabins. There was pine trees all over the place and I used to pick up the pine cones. They were the biggest pinecones I had ever seen.
I know somewhere along the way I got a paint set and I would paint the little hard leaves that would stick out, different colors. My dad would fly a kite with me, but it usually turned out that he enjoyed it much more than I did.
I also remember that while we were there, we went to one of the fanciest restaurants, I can remember having to walk down a set of 5-6 stairs to get to the room where our table was.
I was wearing fishnet tights and a dress. My parents always took me out to fancy restaurants when I was young. My sister, Lori, did not live with us than because she was back in NY staying with my grandparents, going to school.
I know it was a great time in North Carolina. Now if I have remembered any of this incorrectly, please mom and dad don't call to correct me because my memories are pretty good and I don't want you putting a cloud over my great memories.
