This is my first piece of fused and slumped glass. A 7.4" dish called "Sunflower" created January 8, 2007.

"The Tree of Life" is a fused 10.5" x 10.4" work of art by Award winning artist, Arlene Wright-Correll. The striker clear glass, upon reaching a temperature of 1450 degrees turned red and it has fused to form a design that shows through the glass representing the heart of the tree trunk. The other glass fused into the tree trunk turned a lavender color and show through when the light comes through it. The leaves fused in at various colors of green and yellow. This unique work of art sits in a wrought iron stand bringing the over all height to 12". It comes with an EBSQ Certificate of Authenticity and an Artist's Bio.
