What the artist's have to say about Who's Who in KY Arts and Crafts©
Hi, What a pleasant surprise! I received your clipping about me that was featured in the Hart County News-Herald. I was not aware that it had even been published. Thank you for the publicity. Most of us need all the promotional help we can get. I certainly am not good at self promotion. Thank you again for taking the time and making the effort to do all this for area artists. Sincerely, Carolie Booth, Fountain Run, Ky.
Arlene, I am so impressed with the articles you have done on our Scottsville artists, and the Scottsville Citizen-Times has done a great job also. Thanks again for your great work, it has given our guild a booster shot. I am certain good things will come of this. We will keep in touch.
Katie Kelley, Scottsville, KY
Thank you so much for sending all the information about Who's Who in KY Arts and Crafts to The Citizen-Times in Scottsville. They had the article about Carolie Booth in this weeks paper. We really appreciate the attention you have brought to our Art Guild.

Arlene,
Thank you so VERY much for the wonderful article you wrote about me and my work. And, thank you sending me the clipping. I am going to have color copies made of them and show it where-ever possible. Thank you for telling me that the e-mail at my website is not working. I already spoke with my webmaster, who gave me all kinds of complicated explanations ( at least to me they are complicated! ) . It will get fixed soon!
Meanwhile, I did change my e-mail address recently and are with bellsouth now. It is: emmyhou0101@bellsouth net

I received the copy of the article you wrote and published this past weekend, and want to thank you for your kind words and thoughtfulness on mailing me a copy.
I was in Munfordville the Saturday of Civil War Days and wandered the booths around the courthouse.I'll bet you were there, but my mind was elsewhere. We had visited the Rowe family cemetery inPriceville which was settle by my 4th great grandfather!

Arlene Hi, I found the article online and again I thank you for the publicity. I wanted to ask you if it will also be coming out in print and if so how may I obtain a copy. Oh, and one last thing, I’m about to get my business cards reprinted and I was wondering if adding "listed in Who’s Who in KY Arts & Crafts" would be appropriate? (John the answer is yes you may)
I thank you for your time and want to tell you I really enjoy the web site. I always like to see what other people are doing but I can’t always drag myself out of the studio to go to the galleries so your site provides a great alternative!
Sincerely, John Clark, Abstract Artist

Hi Arlene,
I took your suggestion and called the magazine and had them send me some copies. Gee, I wish I’d thought of that sooner; but, then I don’t think simply (I think complex) and that was such a simple solution to getting a copy of the winter edition. Now, I’ve read you article several times and I’m just tickled pink. It’s just a dandy article and it covers so much in thought. The images are great with the article and look very nice in print. I must compliment you highly on your writing and on your perseverance on my behalf to get the article published. I’m sure that it will bring benefit to my work and to my growth as an artist and photographer. I can’t thank you enough I do appreciate that you asked me if I was interested in having an article on my work and that you did such a fine job on preparing it on my behalf.
I thought the winter edition of Arts Across Kentucky was a particularly "meaty" edition with quality articles on strong work and artists. I’m very pleased to be included in that edition.
Thanks again.
Larry Wright
PS: Sandra, my lovely spouse, agrees with all that I’ve stated and believes the article is even better that I think it is. She’s a little prejudiced, I believe.
