Arlene keeps experimenting with the big kiln and here is one of her latest pieces. "The Citrus Tree". It is 10.4" x 10.5" and consists of 3 layers of glass. Plus some new stuff she is playing with called "Freeze N Fuse" which is taking powdered ground glass and mixing it with distilled water and chemicals, then pouring it into molds, freezing the molds, then fast tack firing it. This piece will go into a wrought iron stand.

Carl had two alumni students come in and show him the side panel test pattern they are making for their front door. They are Frank and Ora R. from Glasgow. It is always great when alumni students go on to do projects on their own.

Arlene created"A-Square Universe" a fused 10.5" x 10.4" work of art by Award winning artist, Arlene Wright-Correll. The color is a transparent blue green and the photo does not do it justice. The iridescent clear glass has fused to form a design that shows through the glass representing the inner galaxy of the universe and the edges has multicolored glass millifores fused into it representing the planets. This unique work of art sits in a wrought iron stand bringing the over all height to 18".

Arlene created "River's Edge" a 11.5" fused glass work of art designed and created by Arlene Wright-Correll. The peacefulness and tranquility of the river's edge through the opening of the woods is captured in this "one of a kind" work of art.
