Mat Cutting Made Easy

 
We teach this workshop on a Saturday, 9:00 am to Noon CT unless we have set up a special different day so you need to check.  We also will create a convenient date for you if we have an opening in our schedule.

Flying-by-the-seat-of-your pants does not work with mat cutting and a mat cutter is NOT a machine. You can learn to save hundreds of dollars with this workshop and mat your own photos and art work with a few simple tools.

You will learn how to achieve quality mat cutting results by overcoming common problems like over cuts and under cuts. 

You will learn how to eliminate patchy cutting through. 

You will learn the professional technique for cutting foolproof double mats and how to cut a stepped corner mat. 

You will learn how to cut a Basic Single Beveled Mat.

You will learn what your first objective in mat cutting is.

You will learn a little known but critical fact about mat board.

You will learn that you do not need expensive equipment to cut your own mats right in your own home.

You will learn what causes over cuts and how to conquer over cuts.

You will learn blade depth control.

You will learn how easy it is to make double mats.

All equipment and material provided.  You will receive hands-on instruction.

This schedule is subject to errors, ommissions, price change and withdrawal without any notification unless you have pre-paid.

 Cancellation policy: A full refund, less a $39.00 processing fee, will be made if you cancel more than 30 days prior to the course. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to the course, a refund (less processing fee) will be made ONLY if we are able to fill your space. On the rare occasion that we need to cancel a course, we will refund all fees paid. We will make every attempt to notify you of cancellation more than one week prior to the course.

Directions to studio: from Munfordville Courthouse go North on 357 2 miles, Right onto 2185 for 3.3 miles, Right onto Dave Wintsch Rd. and we are the 1st driveway on the left. Come up the driveway and we are the first building on the left.
