Hunting License information
Specifics regarding licensing can be viewed by clicking on the New York State Dept. of Environmental Conservation’s website or by calling the NYSDEC @ (518) 457-3521. Hunting and fishing licenses are available over the counter at our local Walmarts. Hunting and Fishing licenses can also be purchased through the US Mail. Download the license application from the above NYSDEC website and send the completed application along with the appropriate payment to the specified address. Non-resident big game licenses cost $110 and include an instant lottery draw for a doe permit. Bear tags are available for an additional $30 fee. Licenses can also be purchased through the DEC’s Automated Licensing System (DECALS) by phone at 1-866-933-2257. |
