Q. Do I need to have artistic talent in order to learn stained glass?

A. No, all you need to have is the desire to learn something new.

Q. What if I never cut glass in my whole life?

A. We never did either the first time we went to stained glass school and we are now creating all kinds of amazing pieces of work and selling them all over the US. Plus we are teaching what we know to students like you every day who never cut a piece of glass in their whole lives!

Q. What if I never ran a business before? How will I know what to do?

A. Part of your 2 week training will be business administration and will include all aspects of running a stained glass school.

Q. I am not ready to retire yet, but I am looking for a hobby that I can make some money at. Would this be something that I could do that with?

A. Yes, if you have the desire, we can teach you to do exactly that, because that is how we started our business. We thought this would be a good hobby for us, but it quickly turned into a full time business.

Q. Will I have to buy anything else once I graduate?

A. Upon graduation you will have everything you need to set up a working studio for 4 students exactly as we have here at Avalon Stained Glass School and you will have a good ready resale inventory, plus all your business data in place, except your local occupational license if applicable and a place in which to set your business up in.
