BEGINNER’S INTRODUCTION TO STAINED GLASS
Offers a Large Stained Glass Panel Workshop
Instruction by Carl Correll, award winning Master Stained Glass Artisan
$495.00 per student
(maximum 4 per class to assure individual attention)
This workshop includes all instruction*, glass, materials, and choice of one of 12 pre-selected patterns (round, rectangular, octagon, or square), use of our studio, and use of our tools. You just bring yourself and go home with a beautiful piece of stained glass approximately 2 ft. x 2 ft. depending on the pattern you choose.
* Our workshop includes 36+/- hours of instruction and studio time. (3 hours per session, for as many sessions you need to fit into your schedule, over a total period of as many consecutive weeks you need.) You can adjust your your time during our open hours and we also offer a Wednesday evening class. We even have some students who “brown bag” it and come from 9 to noon & 1 to 4pm on some days and others who come several days in a row. We are flexible during our open hours to fit your busy schedule. From the beginning, you’ll be taught how to work in the copper foil method. You’ll be introduced to a number of different ways to cut glass, to assemble projects, and to solder. Instead of just learning the way we do it, you’ll be free to select the method that best suits your own needs and preferences.
It is unnecessary to bring your own tools, but to experiment with the many alternatives available.
When you do decide to buy your own, it’ll be after having tested and compared as many as possible.
