Art isn’t just about teaching someone to paint or draw, create stained glass or fused glass art. It isn’t about teaching someone how to dance, write or play a musical instrument. It is really about simulating creativity and that is what we do at Avalon Stained Glass School & Creativity Center.
Avalon Stained Glass School & Creativity Center offers a “budget Friendly” Vacation Watercolor workshop.
2012 (5) FIVE DAY VACATION WATER COLOR WORKSHOP
If you ever wanted to learn watercolor painting or to improve your watercolor skills, then Avalon Stained Glass School & Activity Center is the place for you. We offer a 5 day seminar to introduce and guide you through a world of watercolor and beauty limited only by your imagination.
WATERCOLOR PAINTING is easy to learn. You do not have to be an artist; you only need to be “good with your hands” and have “an eye for detail”. A good sense of humor and a little patience will get you through this course just fine.
Arlene Wright-Correll; our International award winning artist; will teach you and guide you though the course. Her goal is for you to learn how to create fine watercolor paintings easily and to have as much fun as possible while you are doing it.
Most art retreats and workshops spend very little time and effort on skill or technique trade secrets. This usually causes enthusiastic beginners to “burn out” in frustration. You may paint in the mornings and sightsee in the afternoons.
SKILL AND TECHNIQUE, once learned, will allow you to develop your own style. You will complete your project and this program with confidence to continue at home.
INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED level students may work with the instructor to custom-tailor their training program or to enjoy a leisure vacation workshop in the heart of South Central Kentucky where you will be inspired by our rural landscapes.
OUR 5 DAY VACATION WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP begins on Monday and continues through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm CT.
CLASS SIZE is strictly limited to no more than 10 students to provide as much one-on-one training as possible.
YOUR WORKSHOP FEE INCLUDES a table easel, watercolor workbook, all of the art materials, instruction and watercolor paints and you will be able to take them home with you when you leave. Weather permitting we will do as much plein air painting as possible.
